Well, to those of you who actually look at my blog-sorry its been so long! But I've got a good excuse....
Life has been full of much joy this past month--Little Noah is 4 weeks old today! Time is flying, but yet I can't imagine not being a mom to him--even though its only been a month.
Noah was born 11.28.11 and definitely captured our hearts from the very first moment we met him! So strange to think that this little guy was curled up inside me
Lots of visitors have come to meet Noah and spend time with me and Brandon--we are truely have wonderful family and friends--I count myself very blessed! Its hard to imagine bringing a child into the world without the support of a loving husband, parents, siblings, in-laws, and friends.
Probably one of my favorite things this past month is seeing Brandon become a dad. He is awesome! I have to brag on Brandon about how wonderful he has been. Coming home from the hospital, he really did most of the house work and has continued to help a ton (he always has helped, but now its even more!) At the hospital, he changed all the diapers, did the swaddling, and took care of our little family of three. He is a natural! He loves spending time with Noah-and it melts my heart to watch them together. As soon as he comes home from work, he wants to hang out with his son--I love it!! Noah seems to smile up at his Daddy as he reads to him, sings silly songs, tells him about the world, and just talks to him. Very precious memories to me.

Ross Find
So, I love shopping at Ross. You never know what you will find--and everything is always so cheap! I like the "hunt" when I am bargin shopping, so I am a lover of Ross, T.J. Maxx, Marshalls, etc. I went to Ross to get a couple of curtain rods for our bedroom. Of course I decided to go look at the baby stuff (you never know what good deals you might run across)...and guess what I found!!!!
I had been searching for a cute baseball themed mobile online, and just couldn't find one I liked. I had run across this one, but every website I found it on, it was sold out, or discontinued (and it was like $40). I figure that we will have a future Rangers fan on our hands, so it would be cute to have. I had been disappointed that I couldn't actually buy one--since I had my mind set on it. I had given up on the idea of this mobile, and hadn't really looked for another one yet.
Well....there it was at Ross....on clearance for $8.99!!!! Awesome find!
It's a wind-up that plays "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" so no batteries necessary. Once its assembled I'll post an updated nursery pic!

5 Year Anniversary!
Its pretty amazing how fast time flies! Brandon and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary yesterday. We went to a fabulous steak dinner at Bob's, and tonight we are planning to go to the Myerson. (We went to the symphony the night we got engaged).
I thought it would be fun to do a little walk back in time and check out a few pics from the past 5 years....
These first 3 were taken at Jeremy and Jessi's wedding (we had been engaged for a while)--but we used them as some engagement pictures:
A few from the wedding:
A few from our Honeymoon--in Jamacia
1 year: We ate at P.F. Changs and stayed at the Omni Hotel in Las Colinas-where we stayed our wedding night
2 years: we ate at this little Italian place in Flower Mound...only to discover that it was the area Women's League dinner that night about, ohhhh, 30 minutes after we go there. So we ate with a bunch of chatting/lauging women in the background! Ha-not very romantic, but oh well!
3 years: We ate at Truluck's in Addison
4 years: We at at Ferrari's in Grapevine
5 Years: We ate at Bob's Steak and Chop House in Grapevine (and we will be going to the Myerson later tonight)
Fun to look back and see how we have changed in such a short amount of time! I definitely look back and like my hair blonde SOOOO much better than when I had it dark at our one year anniversary :)

Fun to think that there are so many more memories and years ahead of us! Who knows what this next year holds....I just know it will be full of great new beginnings as we are getting ready for Noah to be here--in like 2 weeks!

Goldandsilver
So, Brandon and I have a 4% share in a race horse--which has been pretty cool! Its really Brandon's hobby, but I enjoy hearing about it as well. So far the horse has run in 3 races. He won the 1st, got 4th in the second race, but unfortunately got last in the race he ran Saturday night. However-the last race was a mile run which is the longest he's ever run.
His name is Goldandsilver--hes really pretty! Brandon and Zac went up to Oklahoma City Saturday night to see him race, and he was able to get some good shots of him:
